While the center looks for a full-time Director, the Interim Director position is held by Frank Lantz, who has taught game design at NYU for over 12 years and runs the experimental New York game design studio Area/Code.
The Game Center curriculum advisory board is made up of faculty drawn for various departments across the University including Ken Perlin from Courant School of Mathematical Sciences, Jan Plass from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Media, and Human Development, and Katherine Isbister from NYU's Polytechnic Institute.
2009's Sumer Game Design Workshop will be led by Greg Trefry, who is one of the founders of the renowned New York urban game festival Come Out and Play.
As the Game Center continues to develop new classes it will be looking to take on new faculty. If you are interested in teaching at the Center contact gamecenter@nyu.edu.
