NYU Game Center MFA Thesis games are being featured all over the world!

We’re excited to announce that “Soft Body” by Zeke Virant and “social_me” by Franziska Zeiner will be featured among the fourteen official selections in the 2014 Out of Index Fesitval in Seoul, Korea. Also featured in the festival is “One of Us” by a team of Game Center Undergraduate alumni, Adan Agha, Alexandre Gresh, and Vivian Allum, which was originally developed at the the Game Center’s 2014 Global Game Jam site. The Out of Index Festival celebrates new games that experiment with mechanics and live outside traditional genres. If you happen to be in Seoul on July 18th, stop by the Out of Index Festival to check out these games along with some of the world’s most innovative designs.

We’re also happy to announce that “The Spilts” by Ilya Zarembsky and “Gemini” by Atlas Chen and Nick Zhang will be featured in the 2014 Indie Prize Showcase and competing for the Indie Prize Award in San Francisco!
