What does love look like in terms of gameplay? How can mechanics represent the emotion of anger? Every Act of Feeling is a series of abstract games that attempts to answer these questions, with each individual game exploring a different emotion. Borrowing from W. Gerrod Parrot’s classification of emotion into six categories—love, anger, joy, sadness, surprise, and fear—Every Act of Feeling provides a variety of different gameplay experiences all within the same collection. As in a collection of poetry, the games are self-contained but constantly in dialogue with one another.
