The NYU Game Center returns to San Francisco March 14-18 for the 2016 Game Developer’s Conference. Throughout the week, our faculty, students, and alumni will be giving talks and showing games. Stop by the NYU Game Center booth on the Expo Floor Wednesday-Friday to play games from students and alumni, talk with faculty, students, and staff, and even playtest your games!

The Game Center Booth
Booth 2818, North Hall, Wednesday-Friday:
Wednesday play through the evolution of Soft Body, Thursday play all three IGF nominated Game Center games: Ape Out, Beglitched, and Circa Infinity, and Friday play different versions of the world’s first musical mobile game, Peter Panic.

Everyday at the booth we’re hosting Playtesting, where you can play MFA work-in-progress games, and even get feedback on any games of your own from Game Center faculty, students, and other GDC attendees.

IGF Booth 
Expo Floor, Wednesday-Friday:
Play the three NYU Game Center student IGF nominated games: Ape Out, Beglitched, and Circa Infinity, as well as Cibele by Star Maid games nominated for Excellence Narrative.

Train Jam Booth
Expo Floor, Wednesday-Friday:
Three of our current MFA students are joining the GDC Train Jam, where developers make games on a train from Chicago to San Francisco. See what they made during the Train Jam booth on the Expo floor!

Indie Mega Booth
Expo Floor, Wednesday-Friday
Play MFA Thesis and 2015 Incubator Game “Sumer”, which is an official selection for the 2016 Indie Mega Booth.

Intel University Showcase
Thursday 5PM:
MFAs Tony Kao, Terri Li, Randy Sebella, and Eliran Veghwere selected to show there thesis game, “Dire”, at the 2016 Intel University Showcase! Plus, play the game at the Intel Louge thorughout the Expo.
