How do I get an internship?

What do game companies want to see in a job applicant?

Should I start my own company or work for someone else?

Can I really make a living making games?

At the 5th Annual Strategy Guide, a panel of local game industry veterans will answer these questions and whatever else you want to throw at them. This session is designed for current students looking for an internship, as well as students and members of the public who are considering the game industry as a career.

Panelists include:
Howard Tsao – CEO – Muse Games
Janelle Benjamin – COO – SuperData Research
Gavin Brown – Digital Product Director – Scholastic Digital
James Gonsalves – Co-Founder – Tin Moon

Moderated by: Margaret Robertson – Director of Game Development – Dots

For the third year, Strategy Guide will co-hosted with the NYC IGDA. We’ll be offering a career clinic section as well as information and job tables from local companies:

Dots
Tilting Point
The Glimpse Group
Digital Continue LLC

and more!

Free and open to the public.
