Sean Heron

Sean Heron is a game designer, gameplay programmer, games educator, and one of the co-founders of Munity Games, a worker-owned game development studio based in New York City. He received a BFA in Game Design from University of Central Florida and an MFA in Game Design from the Game Center. His work tends to focus on exploring and developing classical 2D action games that integrate his love of tokusatsu, high energy, and a fair bit of competition.

Sean is the lead programmer and lead gameplay designer for Shootlanzer, a 2D arcade shmup that is Munity Games’ debut title. It has been previously featured at GDC, PlayNYC, Community Effort Orlando, and Unreleased Games Arcade.

In his spare time, he likes to stream a variety of games on Twitch, write, and keep up with Kamen Rider.
