Together with Brooklyn Brewery, we’re bringing together some never-before-seen games with the latest Brooklyn Quarterly Experiment, the enigmatic Black Ops, in the Brooklyn Brewery Tasting Room on Friday, December 16. You’ll get to try your hand at some of the most exciting and innovative new games from the Game Center on TVs around the room. Then, stop by the bar to get a rare taste of Black Ops, a bold and genteel Russian imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and refermented in the bottle. Trust us, there’s no better way to kick off a weekend than with games and beer.

Emotional Fugitive Detector
Alexander King, Samuel Von Ehren, and Noca Wu

Emotions are dangerous to our society. To maintain order, the Human Management Bureau has begun performing random emotion inspections on the citizenry. All citizens must comply. The Emotion Fugitive Detector robot, or EFD-3016, was made to serve this purpose. An emotion inspection is performed when a human embeds their face into the Evaluation Aperture. The EFD-3016’s internal sensors quickly evaluate the emotionality of the human. Once an Emotional Fugitive is discovered, the execution immediately commences. The original prototype EFD-3016 was designed and built in 2016 by three innovative researchers: Alexander King, Samuel Von Ehren and Noca Wu. Unfortunately, these humans could not comprehend the importance emotionlessness and thus their administrator authority was ultimately revoked.
