Francesco Antolini is a game designer and game director. He has been playing and creating video games since the 8-bit era. He holds a European baccalaureate and obtained an MFA from the University of Bologna with a thesis centered on Game Design. He worked on adver- and serious games until he joined Ubisoft, where he contributed to franchises such as Prince of Persia and Assassin’s Creed. Loving open worlds and the teamwork behind them, in 2012 he became a part of the Avalanche Studios family, helping to build the New York studio and serving as Lead Game Designer on Just Cause 3 and as Game Director on Just Cause 4. He recently left Avalanche, sailing for new adventures.
