This Saturday, check out the 2017 Game Devs of Color Expo and celebrate game developers of color! Play games by awesome creators as well as learn and share techniques for creating your own interactive media!

The expo features panels, talks, educational sessions, and an arcade – all featuring game developers of color. Hear discussions about the game development process, representation in games, and experiences within the games industry as people from different backgrounds in the large-capacity auditorium. Try out a selection of incredible games made by people of color in the spacious arcade.

The NYU Game Center will be there with a table, so stop by to talk with faculty, staff, and students and play games made by students of color from our program! Plus, hear from faculty member Mitu Khandaker on a panel about surviving the game industry. And play Incubator game Exposure by Brian Chung and GJ Lee in the Arcade!

The expo is organized by the Brooklyn Gamery, co-created by devs Catt Small, Chris Algoo, and Dennis Liaw.

Tickets are inexpensive and the event is open to people of all genders, races, and sexual orientations.
