Join the NYU Game Center for the Game Devs of Color Expo 2019! This daylong event is an inclusive games expo and conference creating a new normal in games by putting creators of color at the forefront, showing off their games, building conversations, and pushing games forward as an artform. The Expo features a full day of conference talks, 25+ expo games, and an after party. There’s ~25 speakers on various angles of game development and publishing, and the guest lineup includes Open Mike Eagle, SAMMUS, and Mega Ran. This year one developer will be awarded a $15,000 development grant from the Humble Bundle Game Creators of Color Award. From the NYU Game Center, we’ll have alumni, students, and staff from the department there to chat about the program, and there’s tons of ways to play NYU Game Center games and hear from current students and alumni!
