Brass Lion Entertainment is an exciting new NYC-based AAA studio creating games that center black, brown, and other traditionally marginalized characters, cultures, and stories in a diverse and inclusive environment.
AAA veterans Manveer Heir and Bryna Dabby Smith are two of the founding team – join them as they visit the Game Center, in conversation with faculty member and Glow Up Games co-founder Professor Mitu Khandaker.
Manveer and Bryna will be sharing their experiences and expertise spanning their prolific careers, leading to the founding of Brass Lion – where they are also collaborating with hip hop luminaries such as legendary producer Just Blaze. They’ll also dive into the challenges and opportunities they face as they grow a brand new AAA studio poised to disrupt the games industry.

The NYU Game Center Lecture Series will be happening in-person and streaming online for the Fall 2021 Lectures! Talks will take place live at the NYU Game Center with a very limited in-person audience of current NYU students and faculty only. The Lectures will be simultaneously live-streamed at twitch.tv/nyugamecenter. All lectures are free both in-person and online.
