The CUNY Games Festival 2.0 is a one day conference to promote and discuss game-based pedagogies in higher education. The festival aims to bring together design, play, and academia to create dialog across all perspectives in the field.
Throughout the festival, there will be multiple opportunities to play games and attend talks by students and staff of the NYU Game Center:
- Incubator Director Dylan McKenzie and Incubator Participant Toni Pizza will review the NYU Game Center Incubator’s first year
- MFA Alumna Shoshanna Kessock will be giving insight into her expertise, LARPs
- Second Year MFA Allen Yu is showing his Games Studio II game “Rising Suns”
- First Year MFA Tamrah Cunningham is giving a talk about programming and narrative
