Noa Segal is a narrative designer, writer, and educator based in Brooklyn. She has taught game design, game development, and most of all game studies at NYU Tisch and Long Island University. Her work explores themes of loss and memory, creeping unease, decay, bugs, puppets, and the intersection of games and theatre. She has written and designed for Paper Rook’s upcoming game “”the Midas Archive”” (part of the Game Center Incubator’s 2025 cohort) and her solo TTRPG work has been published in TXTBooks’ “”Games for a Rainy Day”” (2024).
Noa received her MFA in Game Design from the NYU Game Center and her BA in History and Creative Writing from Oberlin College, where she wrote an Honors thesis about death and burial culture in Victorian England. She is interested in the social dynamics of reality TV and combining horror, absurdism, and comedy in her digital work. Find her work at pigeonhag.itch.io or on her website.
