Join us for a conversation with Founding Chair of the NYU Game Center Frank Lantz to celebrate the publishing of his new book The Beauty of Games. The book is an exploration of games as an aesthetic form and touches on many themes that are central to the overall Game Center project – game design as creative practice, the relationship of art and technology, and the multitude of various ways that games create and convey meaning. Help us welcome the prodigal uncle back to Brooklyn and let’s see if this is the book that might finally help convey our complex reasons for loving games to a broader audience.
Hear about this and more in this talk and Q&A moderated by Game Center Assistant Arts Professor Charles Pratt.
