Epitaph

Wyatt Yeong and Kailin Zhu

Epitaph is a competitive tactical game where each player commands a team of three Reapers, the many faces of death, to steal souls away from your enemies and conquer the afterlife. A unique real-time, cooldown-based combat system challenges players to form combos between their combatants, setting up brutal moves and countering the plans of their opponent. But be careful – every time a character dies, they come back stronger, so as you are closing towards victory, your opposition becomes even more formidable.

Rewordable

Tim Szetela, Allison Parrish, Adam Simon

REWORDABLE is a competitively creative word building game. Each custom deck is composed of common letter combinations in the English language. Players arrange these cards to form words of increasing length and complexity, by drawing from their own hand or by stealing cards from other players, building onto already constructed words.

Post Incubator: Shortly after the Incubator the team launched a successful Kickstarter campaign. The team didn’t stop there — after more than doubling their goal and securing more than $43,000, the team recently announced a publishing deal with Clarkson Potter, an imprint of Penguin Random House. With this new partnership you can expect to see Rewordable available in Fall 2017.
