Come hear an artist talk from our Artist in Residence, Marie Claire LeBlanc Flanagan. Marie is excited about spaces between people, especially spaces related to expression and connection. How do people work together? Make decisions together? Build new ways of playing together? Marie experiments with play installations, videogames, and other curious experiences, and has been lucky to show her work at weird game festivals around the world.
Marie has worked with A MAZE. Berlin, the School of Machines, Making, and Make-Believe, SoundCloud, The Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), Daily Tous Les Jours, and GenieLab. Marie founded Wyrd Arts Initiatives, a nationwide nonprofit dedicated to encouraging, documenting, and connecting creative expression across Canada; served as the Editor in Chief of Weird Canada, and founded Drone Day, an international day for the celebration of drone sounds and communities.
