From studying art and programming in Shanghai to getting a master’s degree at USC’s Interactive Media Program to founding thatgamecompany with his classmates, Jenova has sought to raise games and play to new heights, and to create universal human experiences that evoke compassion, thoughtfulness and kindness. Combining noble ambitions for games as an artform with tangible success in stirring millions of hearts, he’s one of the most inspirational game designers of recent decades.
