Karina Popp makes games about banality and bodies. Her work has been selected at festivals such as the IGF, Come Out and Play, Now Play This, and Fantastic Arcade. She’s currently a Visiting Assistant Arts Professor at the NYU Game Center.
Karina has a problem. Her problem is with game design and with the way we talk about games and what games have become in this century. Her only solution is to burn it all down. She invites you to hear her explain herself, her problem, and her plea for the future of videogame making.
