Jason Leahey

Jason Leahey is the Department Administrator for Student and Admission Services. Previously, Jason worked as a teaching artist and instructor at public and private schools across four of the five boroughs and in classrooms from kindergarten to college—he has worked with students from all walks of life and takes pride in helping everyone feel comfortable, excited, and listened to so that they can pursue their passions and dreams. He balanced out that work with program administration and event management for non-profit organization clients in the city. Jason earned an MFA from NYU in 2008 and holds a BA in English and American Studies from Goucher College. When not helping students and families navigate NYU and make the most of their time there, Jason writes, makes music, cooks, gardens, and parents.
