Jeff Petriello is a game designer based in Brooklyn, and a producer on The New York Times Games Team working on games like Wordle & Spelling Bee. Previously he was the first employee at Sam Barlow’s Half Mermaid Productions, where he produced the BAFTA & IGF Award-winning narrative game, IMMORTALITY. He is a co-creator of The Pasta Tarot: a queer, Italian-American themed Tarot Deck published by Penguin Random House  / Clarkson Potter. He’s also served as a producer and technical narrative consultant at Glow Up Games, where he shipped HBO’s Insecure: The Come Up Game. His individual practice is focused on analog games and interactive media, which he studied as a masters student at the Game Center. He has a background in film and media production, having worked for companies like Mashable, NowThis, Bleacher Report, SoulCycle, and Scott Rudin Productions, as well as a track record of independent production, like the feature film Druid Peak, shot by Academy Award nominee Rachel Morrison. He plays a lot of Gloomhaven.
