Karina Popp is a Visiting Assistant Arts Professor at the NYU Game Center. Karina’s games have been shown at festivals and exhibits around the globe, including the Independent Games Festival, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, and Now Play This. Her work explores banality, bodies, and labor.
In addition to her practice, Karina has taught game design, development, and studies classes at Steinhardt, Hostos Community College, and Parsons School of Design. She received her BA in English Literature from the University of Mississippi and her MFA in Game Design from the NYU Game Center.
