Why are you studying games?
Games represent a unique, boundless form of storytelling that cannot be experienced when interacting with other entertainment art forms. I have been making games since I was 8 years old. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn how to do what I love from people who have industry experience.
Describe your favorite project made by a classmate.
Martin's audio visual experience, KOI, was a fascinating yet soothing take on the genre. I enjoyed watching it come together. I haven't played many games that have had a profound impact on my mood or state of mind. The serene art style and mysterious gameplay definitely caught my eye.
What's your secret weapon?
Something to do with music. Wouldn't be a secret if I shared the rest of it.
