Wengu Eddy Hu, an indie artist, gamer and music composer living in New York. As an indie game developer with more than 10 years of experience, he is also a well-known influencer of artificial intelligence art / game, and a senior developer technologist in the field of computer vision as Baidu Paddle Paddle Developers Experts. Eddy is the founder of first of its kind ChatGPT powered AI game “Yandere AI Girlfriend Simulator”, which got 20 million views in total over the social media and more than 120k downloads in a month.
As an AI restorer, Eddy used a series of AI technologies to colorfully restore many precious black and white historical video materials, and his works have been on the trending list of social media platforms in China for many times as his AI colorization videos got over 100 million views in total across the internet.
In terms of composing music, Eddy has participated in the soundtrack or sound effects of many 3D and 2D animations and indie games such as Bloody Dairy, Run Cat Run, In A Good Way, Luscious and Verge, The Disappearing of Gensokyo, etc. The films have been selected for screening in dozens of film festivals around the world, including the Festival International du Film d’Animation d’Annecy in France.
