From January 28th-30th the NYU Game Center will be a proud jam site in the Global Game Jam. The Global Game Jam occurs once every year around late January, bringing together game enthusiasts from all over the world through local sites to design and produce a game in 48 hours. These games could be digital or non-digital, but they must follow a certain theme or constraints given at the event. In turn, the game jam hopes to use these experimental designs to create new and innovative game play. It’s important to note that this game jam is open to the public and does not require prior professional experience in game development. To sign up for the event, follow the instructions at this link.
