Awakening is a work in progress and is a thesis project at the NYU game center. It is a 3rd person 3D action-adventure platformer game about communication and discovery. Players run, jump, roll and explore across a mysterious island that was ravaged by a great war many centuries ago. Discover the creatures who now inhabit the island and learn their language naturalistically word-by-word along the way. By communicating with the three tribes of the island, the player will reconnect them with each other, and uncover the full story of the land’s history.
