Circuit breakers is a non-shuffling, deck-building card game about giant robots battling in space. Players program their robots using a marketplace of cards and arranging them on a conveyer-belt-like queue. Do damage, block attacks, and destroy your opponents plans while building up the perfect engine.
Circuit breakers was my final project for Eric Zimmerman’s Game Design 1 class and it’s core mechanic had a massive impact on my thesis work. It also taught me about laser cutting!
