Why are you studying games?
In my undergraduate years, I build diorama to photograph. With my ideas grow more and more ambitious, I found my hand cannot synchronize with my hand. Game developing empowered me to build my own realm absent the restraint of budget, craftsmanship, and physical laws.
Describe your favorite project made by a classmate.
A conversational game named "Dinner" by Chris and David. It revealed the pretentious and superficial nature in certain middle class social groups.
Describe your most embarrassing playtesting moment.
Under preformed in a board game playtest but the dungeon master raised my score to be on par with the other players nevertheless.
Describe one memorable lecture, assignment, or exercise you've had at the Game Center.
During the narrative board game critique both of my instructor and my TA laughed to hard to continue playing the game designed by my team.
How has the Game Center changed your thinking about games?
The definition of game lecture in Game Study class refreshed my concept of "what is game". It encouraged me to reconsider the game-like characterizes of many activities which are not recognized as game before.
What do you hope to accomplish after school?
Freedom and democracy for the human race.
What's the last great game you played and what's great about it?
Wild Animal Racing. This game clearly shows the result of marijuana legalization: affordable, strong, and easy artistic inspiration for everyone.
