Michael Poltronieri Tang

Born and raised in a small town outside of Philadelphia, Michael Poltronieri Tang was raised in a community that valued the arts highly but the sciences even higher. Because of this, Michael grew up believing he wanted to study dinosaurs or outer space. In recent years, Michael has uncovered passions for several forms of art ranging from photography to game design to musical composition. He is currently studying game design as an undergraduate at the NYU Game Center at the Tisch School of the Arts.

Why are you studying games?
I think games offer an incredibly unique way to tell stories and share our emotions.
What's your secret weapon?
Sour gummi worms.
What's your favorite New York City spot?
The Uncommons, just south of WSP, is a quaint little game store and coffee shop. It's great to be able to support a local game store basically in the heart of the city.
