No Quarter 2024 Cohort and Games

Izzy Kestrel presents Dreamscape Explorer

The year is 199X and you are an active participant on a niche online chatroom called “Pillow Talk”. Another chatter has recently discovered a strange program that allegedly allows them to explore the “Dream Network” that connects everyone around the world while they sleep. One restless night, you decide to open DreamscapeExplorer.exe and see if it really works…

Rob Dubbin and Garrett Miller make games together, starting with this one. Rob’s writing and development work has spanned outlets from The Colbert Report to the pico-8, including a magazine piece about the first No Quarter in 2010. Rob co-created the Scripto collaborative platform and also co-hosts the Eggplant game-design podcast. Garrett, meanwhile, has worked at the intersection of earth metals and electricity for over 20 years, making many shapes of software, games, and art. He’s worked as a designer, engineer, and product manager at Mapbox, Slack, and Figma. The best place to learn more about Rob and Garrett’s work is definitely No Quarter 2024. https://robdubbin.online
